Career Opportunities

In the context of concentration of the increasing population in some regions and meeting the basic needs of this problem, the fields of civil engineering graduates are:
Housing and business building construction
Construction of industrial buildings
Construction of engineering structures such as bridges, viaducts, underpasses, tunnels, and stations
Construction of dams, nuclear and thermal power plants, and renewable energy power plants
Supply of drinking, utility, and irrigation water and construction of the distribution network or channels of the supplied water; Construction of structures such as the collection, treatment, and removal of wastewater resulting from the use of distributed water
Tube passage construction under the sea or river
Railway and highway construction
Construction of air and seaports
Repair and strengthening of damaged structures
Examining and, if necessary, improving the properties of the place where all these abovementioned structures will be built on and/or inside, and the materials used in all these structures. Making static and dynamic calculations of all the mentioned structures, project design, implementation, and management of the works.
 
Students who graduate from the department can work in universities, public institutions (Municipalities, Highways, DSI, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, T.C.D.D., etc.) and in private sectors as civil engineers, control engineers, site managers, and project managers.
