About Us

Department of Clinical Sciences; The Veterinary Medicine profession consists of 4 departments, namely Surgery, Internal Diseases, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive and Artificial Insemination, operating in the field of clinical animal health. Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine continue their practice alternately in the departments of Surgery, Internal Diseases, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive and Artificial Insemination with clinical practice courses. In addition to theoretical courses, students gain experience and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of pet animals and farm animals through clinical practice courses. Application-based information will be applied in the animal hospital and Training-Application and Research Farm.
The Department of Surgery within the Department of Clinical Sciences conducts research in the fields of imaging (radiography, tomography, ultrasonography), anesthesia and surgical interventions of pets and provides clinical services in the field of animal health. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology conducts research in the field of genital system health and diseases of domestic female animals and provides clinical services in the field of animal health. The Department of Internal Diseases conducts research on internal diseases, which have a large place in pet health, and provides clinical services in the field of animal health. The Department of Reproduction and Artificial Insemination provides undergraduate education on the andrological health and diseases of male animals and provides clinical services in the field of animal health.
