About Us

 
Department of Electricity and Energy Electricity Program was opened in 1990 and started to admit students in the same year.

Electricity Program is a 2-year associate degree program consisting of 4 semesters and admits students with TYT score.
There are 3 lecturers in the program. In the required courses, the instructors of the Seydişehir Vocational School and the Seydişehir Ahmet Cengiz Engineering Faculty are utilized.

There is 1 Electrical Laboratory in the program. In addition, Mechatronics and Computer Laboratories are also used.
The courses are given theoretically and practically. In order for the courses to be compatible with the industry, attention is paid to the relations with the industry and the market. Courses are supported by internships during the summer months.
Electricity Program curriculum; It has been prepared to cover the subjects of electricity, electronics, power electronics, electrical systems, fault analysis, electrical machines and motors, generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, control and automation systems, electrical installation and project drawings.

The Purpose of the Program: To train qualified intermediate staff who can work in contemporary conditions in close cooperation with organizations operating in the electricity and energy sector and by considering the future targets of the industry.

Mission of the Program: To train qualified technical staff needed by the electricity and energy sector, who have gained professional competencies, can follow technological developments, adopt lifelong learning, apply scientific methods, and respect ethical values.

Vision of the Program: To be a continuously developing program that can keep the quality of education at the highest level, leads in producing solutions to the problems of our region and our country, cooperates with its stakeholders, attaches importance to interdisciplinary work, and adopts the principles of total quality management.
