HİSTORY
1987-1988 academic year Selçuk University Ereğli Vocational School under the name of the Department began teaching the Machine Program. In 2001-2002 academic year, the second teaching started. On April 26, 2013, Necmettin High School was attached to Erbakan University.

OCCUPATİONAL PROFİLES OF GRADUATES
A Machine Technician can be employed in any public / private sector in which all kinds of machining and non-machining production and technical service activities are carried out. Because the manufacturing sector is a rising value and CNC machines occupy an important place in modern manufacturing, Machine Technician has become the most sought after employee in this area. They can work in job tracking, quality control, programming, process planning, heat processing, control and automation, technical service and promotion. Those who are self-confident and able to build up enough knowledge and skill can build their own business. Examples of work that a machine technician can work on; Design and Production Supervisor, Maintenance and Repair Supervisor, R & D Supervisor, Material and Quality Supervisor, Marketing and Sales Supervisor, Trading and Supply Supervisor, Training Supervisor, Automation Supervisor.
ASSESSMENT AND GRADİNG
A) Midterm exam: At least one midterm exam is held for each course every semester.
B) General examination: A general examination of a course is made at the end of the semester or year when the course is completed. General test, students who fulfill attendance requirements and who are successful in the application of the courses that they are applying for may be admitted.
C) Make-up exam: A make-up exam is made between the dates specified in the academic calendar after the completion of the course. This test may take students who have the right to enter the general examination and who do not enter the examination or who are unable to provide sufficient success in the examination.
Ç) Single course examination: Students who have only one course for their graduation will take the single course examination to be opened by the faculties and vocational schools within one month following the completion examination.
D) Exemption Examination: An exam will be opened at the beginning of the semester for the students enrolled in the university who are compulsory foreign language courses or students who are required to study in the foreign language preparatory class.
E) Make-up exam: The make-up exam is recognized by students who can not take the mid-term exam due to an excuse. Those who are eligible for the midterm exams and who are accepted by the relevant board of directors for their valid and valid excuses from the students who can not enter these exams, shall use their midterm examinations within the same semester in the day, place and time determined and announced by the dean or school directorate.
