Program Profile
Textile production, which is carried out as an art or craft rather than an industrial revolution, has turned into a giant industry, especially with the use of steam power on the counter. At this time, it was understood that the information about textile materials and processes was extremely limited and inadequate, and the first Textile departments were established in the 4th quarter of the 19th century to make up for the deficiencies in this subject. Textile can be described as "art and technology of obtaining all types of fiber surfaces". In order for the fiber to become a surface, it must go through many processes. Each of these processes goes directly to the responsibility of the textile department.
