Abdullah Atıcıgil

He was born in 1958 in Konya. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Konya. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology in 1984.
Between 1980-1985, he served as an Imam-Hatip in the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
He worked as a religious officer in Austria between 1985-1986.
He completed his military service as a Reserve Officer between 1986-1987.
He started to work as a teacher at M.E.B in 1989.
He resigned in 1998 and worked in the private sector until 2003.
In 2003, he returned to the teaching profession within the Ministry of National Education.
He worked as Akören District National Education Branch Manager in 2003-2004.
Between 2007 and 2012, he worked as the Deputy Director in Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education.
In 2012, he was appointed as the Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department of our University.
He has been serving as the Deputy Secretary General in 2022. He is married and has 3 children.
