Graduates of health management department have opportunities to work in the,

• Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health central and provincial organizations,
• Public and private health institutions,
• Republic of Türkiye Social Security Institution,
• Private and voluntary organizations providing different levels of health care,
• Departments and programs of universities providing similar education,
• In health-related units of press and broadcasting organizations,
• Turkish Armed Forces,
• pharmaceutical and medical consumables companies, insurance companies.

They can create a career as a health manager in public, university and foundation hospitals, private hospitals, rehabilitation centres, industrial organizations producing pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and health research centres.

After their undergraduate education, students can choose to pursue an academic career by studying for master’s and doctoral degrees in their fields.

There is no field distinction in the Public Personnel Selection Examination for the Department of Health Management. In this respect, graduates of the department can’t be assigned with the “4597 Qualification Code” determined by the Council of Higher Education. Only when there is an announcement by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health for clerical staff for the health management department, purchases are made. Instead, health management graduates are subject to appointment with the evaluation of undergraduate graduates.
