Nezahat Keleşoğlu Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences was established by the Council of Higher Education's Decree No. 54412 dated December 14, 2012. The Faculty of Health Sciences was renamed the Nezahat Keleşoğlu Faculty of Health Sciences by Presidential Decree No. 4180 dated June 20, 2021. With seven (7) departments, including Health Management, Social Work, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Departments of Speech and Language Therapy, Audiology, and Occupational Therapy, the Faculty continues its academic activities to provide employment opportunities for the healthcare sector.

As is the case globally, the primary goal of health-related institutions in our country is to train health professionals who will protect the health of the individual, family, and community, prevent illness, ensure the well-being of individuals and communities through treatment, care, and rehabilitation services in the event of illness, and enhance their ability to cope with challenges.
