Prof. Dr. Turan PAKSOY
Prof. Dr. Turan Paksoy received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University and his Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Selçuk University. He completed his Ph.D. in Production Management at Selçuk University. From 2004 to 2018, he served as a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Selçuk University. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2008 and promoted to full Professor in 2015. In the same year, he was a visiting scholar at Kingston University in London.

Prof. Dr. Turan Paksoy received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University and his Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Selçuk University. He completed his Ph.D. in Production Management at Selçuk University. From 2004 to 2018, he served as a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Selçuk University. Between 2018 and 2020, Prof. Paksoy worked as a Professor at Konya Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering. He also served as the founding director of the Lean & Green SCM Laboratory at KTO Karatay University from 2017 to 2022. In 2018, he received the “Global Sustainability Leaders” award from the Green Chamber of Commerce in the United States.
From 2020 to 2023, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University. Since 2023, he has continued his academic career as a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the same university.
Pursuing an international academic career, Prof. Dr. Paksoy has been appointed as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Business and Law, Northumbria University, UK, for the 2024–2027 period. Also an entrepreneur, he co-founded the digital transformation company Digitoverse Ltd., which he transferred in 2024.
With over 350 academic publications, Prof. Dr. Paksoy’s articles have appeared in prestigious journals such as Computers and Industrial Engineering, European Journal of Operational Research, and Transportation Research. His work has received approximately 2,500 citations. His research interests include digital transformation, Industry 4.0, lean production, smart and sustainable logistics & supply chain management, and fuzzy decision-making. He continues to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in these fields.
