Konya Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School, Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance, Banking and Insurance Program started accepting students in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
The aim of the department is to train qualified manpower to be employed in the fields of banking and insurance sector.
Necmettin Erbakan University Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School, Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance Student admission to the Banking and Insurance Program; Higher Education Council (YÖK) is determined by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in line with the relevant legislation.
Students can transfer to undergraduate programs with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
Students will be entitled to receive an associate degree diploma if they have obtained a total of 120 ECTS in 4 semesters and have successfully completed all of the courses with a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and 25 working days of internship.
Evaluation of exams and course passing procedures are determined according to Necmettin Erbakan University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Students who graduate from the Banking and Insurance Program have the opportunity to work in the fields of banking and insurance. Graduates can find the opportunity to progress in their careers by joining the business life from the lower level. They can be employed in public and private banks, finance sector, insurance companies, insurance departments.
Students can apply for exemption from the courses they have taken and succeeded in the higher education institutions they have previously enrolled in or in an institution with recognized equivalence. Exemption requests are decided by the board of directors when necessary.
Thanks to the banking and insurance program, students gain knowledge, cognitive and practical skills related to the field of banking and insurance, competence to work independently and take responsibility, learning competence, communication and social competence and field-specific competence.
