ISLAMIC HISTORY AND ARTS

Operating under the Faculty of Theology at Necmettin Erbakan University, the Department of Islamic History and Arts aims to address the historical heritage and cultural richness of Islamic history and civilization through a multidimensional approach. The department provides in-depth knowledge in areas such as the political structures of the Islamic world, social transformations, literary heritage, aesthetic understanding, and musical traditions, offering students a comprehensive educational environment. With an expert academic staff, the department delivers both theoretical knowledge and practice-based learning. This program, which aims to understand the development of Islamic civilization from its historical roots to the present day, also instills critical thinking, interdisciplinary perspective, and analytical interpretation skills.
