This international symposium is organized by the Portuguese Society for Occupational Safety and Hygiene (SPOSHO) and co-organised by the School of Engineering of the University of Minho,  the Engineering Faculty of University of Porto, Faculty of Human Kinetics of the Technical University of Lisbon , the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain (UPC), and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

- All accepted short-papers (2-3 pages)  will be included in the "SHO journal series - 2014" from SPOSHOedited with ISSN; 
 
INVITATION TO PUBLISH IN JOURNALS (special/regular issues):
Selected authors will be invited to submit an extended and revised version of their papers to SPECIAL or REGULAR issues in the following peer-reviewed journals:
International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics - Indexed at the ISI Journal Citation Reports, Impact Factor: 1.260. An open-submission special issue is previewed on a topic to be announced soon.
Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manuf. & Services Industry - Indexed at the ISI Journal Citation Reports, Impact Factor: 0.612. A special issue is previewed to include selected papers from the symposium.
International Journal of Human Factors and Ergonomics (IJHFE) - Selected authors will be invited to elaborate on their research topic and submit the results to this international Journal for a regular issue.
