RESIDENCE PERMISSION

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR STUDENT RESIDENCE PERMISSION

1- Residence Permit Application Form (It must be signed by the foreigner and/or his legal representative.)
2- A copy of the passport or the document that replaces the passport (the page with the identity information and the photo, as well as the processed pages showing the entry-exit and visa information) (The original of the document should be with you on the appointment day.)
3- Four (4) biometric photographs (Taken within the last 6 months, with a white background and biometric.)
4- Statement of having sufficient and regular financial means during the stay (It is declared in the Application Form. The administration may request supporting documents from the applicant.)
5- Document/receipt showing that the residence card fee has been paid (Residence permit fee document/receipt for those studying at international institutions, embassy and consulate schools is also required.)

6- Valid health insurance (The insurance period must cover the desired residence permit period. One of the following is considered sufficient.)
 
  • E-signed/signed and stamped/sealed document obtained from provincial social security units proving that health services are used in Turkey within the scope of bilateral social security agreements
  • E-signed/signed and stamped/sealed provision document obtained from the Social Security Institution (Provision documents to be brought from SSI must be both supportive and include family members in family residence permits.)
  • E-signed/signed and stamped/sealed document regarding the application made to the Social Security Institution to become a general health insurance holder.
  • Private health insurance (Please present the signed and stamped/sealed original of your insurance policy at the time of application.) 7- Document showing the place of residence
  • (One of the following is considered sufficient.)If you live in your own home, a copy of the title deed (For extension applications, "documentation certificate" is sufficient.
  • Notarized copy of your lease, if you are staying on a lease;
  • Hotel etc. if you are staying at accommodation, documents proving your stay at those places;
  • If you are staying in student dormitories, an e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document stating that you are staying at the dormitory,
  • If you are staying with a third party, the notarized commitment of the person staying with you (if the person staying with you is married, also the notarized commitment of the spouse)

Undergraduate - Faculty of Dentistry / Pharmacy / Veterinary Medicine (5 years)

Military Schools (4 years)
  • Visa suitable for the purpose of stay, obtained from the foreign representatives of the Republic of Turkey (only for primary and secondary education)

Master (2 years)

PHD (3 years)

Those Who Have Specialized Education in Medicine / TUS (3 years)
Document that you are within the scope of TUS
Those Who Have Specialized Training in Dentistry / DUS (3 years)
Documentation of being covered by DUS
Those who were directed to Turkish course by their university (1 year)
Stamped/sealed and e-signed/signed document to be obtained from the institution or organization authorized to offer Turkish language courses (the duration of the course should also be specified)
  • Those who come as a student within the scope of the Erasmus Program (1 year)
E-signed/signed and stamped/sealed document showing that you are within the scope of the "exchange program" for learning purposes, to be obtained from the institution of study.
  • Those who come as a student within the scope of other international exchange programs (1 year)
E-signed/signed and stamped/sealed document showing that you are within the scope of the "exchange program" for learning purposes, to be obtained from the institution of study.
