INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXAM AND PLACEMENT

  1. NEÜYÖS is organized and implemented in different languages ​​by the General Coordination of Foreign Relations at the dates and places to be determined by the Senate.
  2. The exam fee is determined each year by the University Administrative Board.  
  3. The exam consists of 80 multiple-choice questions in the fields of General Ability, Mathematics, and Geometry.
  4. Placement score; 100% of the candidates applying with NEÜYÖS. 90% of the scores of the candidates applying with other higher education YÖS exams, in the hundredth system. 70% of the equivalent of the scores of the candidates applying with their diplomes.
  5. In case of equality of points, priority is given to the younger candidate.
  6. Additional placements can be made when deemed necessary, or the vacant quotas can be added to the quotas of associate and undergraduate programs that exceed the number of quotas, by the decision of the University Administrative Board. However, quota transfer in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law programs is made by the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board.
  7. In addition to the general conditions stated above, candidates applying to the programs that admit students with a special talent exam have to be successful in the Special Talent Exam to be held by our University. The evaluation of the applications is made by the relevant faculty according to the criteria in the special talent exam application registration and admission directive.

• In cases other than the 100-degree system, the International Student Coordinator will convert it into a 100-degree system and be evaluated.
