Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Mızırak
Born in Konya in 1969, Zekeriya Mızırak entered Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences after his primary and secondary education.
After graduating in 1990, he received his Master's degree from Selçuk University Institute of Social Sciences and his PhD from Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences.
He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2005, Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2018. Mızırak, who continues to work as a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Political Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University, was appointed as the Vice Rector in 2019.
During his academic period, he worked as a manager in the public sector (Prime Ministry General Directorate of Laws and Decrees Economic and Financial Unit Expert, General Secretary of Turkish Standards Institution, Selcuk University head of health, culture and sports and General Secretary of Konya University) and as a consultant in some public institutions and organizations (Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Science Center). He worked as a visiting professor at Ball State University in the USA in 2009. He took part in many national and international projects. Mızırak, who is a member of the board of directors and volunteers in various non-governmental organizations, has published books and articles.
