Our Faculty's Public Relations and Advertising Department continues to maintain contact with external stakeholders in the media sector as part of the accreditation process. In this context, Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Enes Bal paid a visit to the Ankara campus of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT).

During the meeting with TRT News Program Director Dr. Emrah Alparslan Konukman, the opportunities available to students in their fields of study, internship and employment opportunities, and the suitability of academic programs to sectoral needs were discussed. In addition, mutual views were exchanged on how university-sector cooperation could be made more effective in line with current developments in the media field. During the visit, evaluations were made regarding increasing joint efforts to enhance students' professional skills and aligning educational content more closely with sectoral expectations.

Associate Professor Enes Bal stated that this constructive collaboration with TRT, which has a long history in public broadcasting, has strengthened the student-centered approach to education. Bal emphasized that this collaboration with TRT is only the beginning and noted that similar collaborations with other media organizations will be implemented in the future.
