NEU Geography Students Gathered at the Welcome Dinner

Necmettin Erbakan University Geography Students Gathered at the Traditional Welcome Dinner – This Year’s Venue: Hadim Yerköprü Waterfall Students from the Department of Geography Education at the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education, Necmettin Erbakan University, came together at Hadim Yerköprü as part of their traditional welcome dinner. Organized every October since 2000, this year’s event saw enthusiastic participation from both faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students. The Department of Geography Education arranges this gathering not only to foster camaraderie among students but also to provide an opportunity to observe and study geographic locations firsthand. During the pre-dinner field observation and evaluation activities, students had the chance to examine the natural structure and geographic features of Hadim Yerköprü. Following the observations, participants were treated to traditional dishes, including sac kavurma and dessert. After the meal, attendees formed a circle, allowing them to get to know one another better.
